A&M Industrial is honored with PVF Best Conversion to an Affiliated Supplier Award

A&M Industrial was recognized by Affiliated Distributors, along with Spirax Sarco and Milwaukee Valves for the PVF Best Conversion Award for 2011. A&M Industrial partnered with Spirax Sarco and Milwaukee Valves to develop a comprehensive engineering product solution for a major NYC utility company, in the aftermath of a catastrophic steam pipe explosion in midtown Manhattan in 2009. The combined efforts of all three companies lead to a safer NYC. A&M Industrial, Spirax Sarco and Milwaukee Valves worked closely with Con Edison engineering and operations group to collectively design, engineer and manufacture an innovative line of custom products weeks after the accident, and facilitated in the development of the initial, temporary fix, as well as the resulting custom design solution.
