In-house repair and calibration laboratory for electronic thermometers

Petro Marine is the official northeast distributor of ThermoProbe® electric thermometers. All electronic thermometers are calibrated to adhere to the guidelines of the API’s chapter 7 for petroleum measurement. As such each thermometer is returned to their owner with a NIST traceable certificate of calibration. Our lab functions under a strict turn-around process for both standard repairs as well as emergency repairs.

Value-added services

Upon request Petro Marine will certify and verify both new and used gauging tapes and bobs. All verifications are done according to API standard 3.1.A and come with NIST traceable certification good for one year.

Petro Marine is your source for all standard ASTM and master thermometers, available with NIST certifications. We offer respirator and SCBA fit testing services using the new OHD Quantifit® quantitative fit tester that is OSHA accepted and NFPA compliant. The Quantafit® fit tester works with all leading manufactures of respirators and SCBA face pieces such as MSA, Scott, North, and all other NATO threaded respirators.

Petro Marine customizes a dedicated inventory for specific customer requirements to ensure the best possible customer service. In conjunction with A&M’s Safety Services group, Petro Marine acts as your MSA authorized C.A.R.E. and R.I.T.E services centers for both SCBA’s, as well as portable gas detection equipment. We offer flexibility with a wide selection of portable gas detectors available for daily, weekly or monthly rental.
