Options:
A&M's core competency is in MRO inventory management and this is the area that distinguishes us from the competition. A&M offers a number of value-added contract options including:
Option #1- Basic Systems Contract
- A&M will assist in development of standardized customer part numbering system if not currently available.
- A&M will provide a consistent pricing structure with manufacturers list/discount set-up.
- Order Barcoding available.
- Package lists and invoices to include customer part number.
- Ordering by customer via EDI/Fax.
- 24 hour Just-In-Time shipments for contract Items.
- Consolidated (summary) billing/payments.
Option #2- Automatic Stock Replenishment
- A&M will develop a computerized inventory file of all customer stockroom products with min/max levels.
- Customer will transmit daily stockroom issues/receipts.
- A&M will replenish items which pierce reorder point.
- A&M will provide management usage reports and inventory evaluation reports.
Option #3- Stockroom Management
- A&M will provide on-site,trained personnel to maintain stockroom inventory,facilitate ordering process,troubleshoot in plant,coordinate staff training.
- A&M will invoice monthly for contact employee(s).
- A&M/Customer will establish a stockroom inventory value.
- A&M will purchase all stockroom inventory with payment in the form of a monthly credit issued over the course of the contract.
- A&M will establish distributor cost-plus pricing strategy for stockroom and nonstockroom products.
- Customer will guarantee a minimum level of business.
- Customer must offer A&M opportunity to quote on non-stockroom plant requirements.
- A&M will bill for products upon stockroom issue (consigned stock).
Option #5- COMMACS Cross Docking Program
(Custom On-site Materials Management And Cross-docking System)
- EDI (Electronic data interchange), ERS (Evaluated Receipt Settlement), and DOE (Direct Order Entry) combined with same-day barcoded shipments.
- State-of-the-art, advanced materials management in a virtually paperless environment.
- Payments generated on a weekly basis for improved cash flow.
COMMACS is a complete turn-key procurement system which can be used in systems contracts and/or complete integrated supply contracts. In 1995,A&M established a cross-functional team to monitor contract inventory levels and ensure that our contract commitments are consistently met. Inventory reductions yield a great financial incentives and we propose on ongoing process throughout the contract term to pursue this endeavor.
