When mixed with water, it produces a translucent amber emulsion that offers machining shops an ideal combination of lubricity, cooling, and workpiece visibility. This formulation is engineered for general‑purpose machining and grinding, including CNC milling, drilling, turning, tapping, and Blanchard, belt, diamond‑wheel, or disk grinding. Its semi‑synthetic structure allows Astro‑Cut B to run clean, resist biological degradation for long sump life, and provide consistent performance across multiple machine platforms. Astro‑Cut B is also chlorine‑free, phenol‑free, nitrite‑free, and DCHA‑free, supporting environmental and operator‑safety requirements without sacrificing corrosion protection or lubricity.
