- For the Enclosed Ratchet Threader Sets, the dies and dropheads are manufactured on CNC machines for cutting precision during the threading process. Sets contain enclosed dropheads and a ratchet handle in a compact, reinforced plastic carrying case. The dropheads are the lightest available, size for size. The enclosed dropheads in these sets can be used manually or with the REED 601PD Power Drive. To replace a drophead, refer to REED Enclosed Dropheads. Dropheads for pipe sizes up through 1-1/4" are interchangeable with RIDGID® 11-R and R200, Super-Ego® 600, Virax® 1362, Rothenberger™ Super Cut hand ratchet threaders and Supertronic portable power threaders.
