- Weiler® Tiger® SiC 6 in type 11 flaring Cup Wheel deliver the right combination of performance and value when grinding sand casting. The silicon carbide abrasive grain are sharp, hard and friable, making them very efficient in controlling metal removal on burn-in and burn-on sand casting. The type 11 flared shape feature a flat grinding surface, making them ideal for heavy metal removal, grinding, transitioning, rough beveling and removing crack and flaw. A wide 1-1/2 in rim provide a large grinding zone to minimize grind time and a 5/8-11 UNC arbor allow for quick spin-on, spin-off product changeover. Specifically designed with performance and versatility in mind, Tiger® SiC cup rock are designed for use on medium to high power pneumatic and high frequency electric grinder. These abrasive are ideal for a wide range of metal often used on cast metal.
