- Crown® Cold Galvanizing Coating is a premium 93% zinc-rich coating designed to deliver long-lasting corrosion protection for ferrous metal surfaces without the need for hot-dip galvanizing. The 97% pure metallic zinc dust coating creates a durable coating that bonds directly to the substrate, forming a dense zinc layer that protects in two powerful ways: first, as a barrier coating comparable to traditional galvanization, and second, through sacrificial anodization, where the zinc corrodes in place of the underlying metal. This dual-action protection remains effective even when the surface is scratched, damaged, or exposed to harsh conditions. In the presence of moisture, the zinc continues to corrode while actively shielding the base metal, ensuring ongoing defense against rust and deterioration.
