Dupont™ Tyvek® 400 Series
DuPont™ Tyvek® 400 garments feature a breathable barrier against aerosols, hazardous dry particles as small as one micron, and non-hazardous light liquid splash. DuPont™ Tyvek® 400 Series Protective Apparel applications include environmental remediation, general manufacturing, crime scene investigation, agriculture, industrial spray painting, and general maintenance.
DuPont™ Tyvek® 400 apparel is available in many options including coveralls, hoods, sleeves, frocks & lab coats, shirts & pants, and aprons. Boot and shoe covers are available in DuPont™ Tyvek® 400 or DuPont™ Tyvek® 400 FC, which adds a friction coating for enhanced skid-resistance. DuPont™ Tyvek 400® coveralls with elastic wrists and ankles are also available.
DuPont™ Tyvek® 600 Series
DuPont™ Tyvek® 600 garments offer seams that are sewn and then taped for added protection. DuPont™ Tyvek® 600 offers a chemical permeation barrier to low-concentration water-based inorganic chemicals. Applications include pharmaceutical handling, chemical processing, automatic spray painting, research & labs, and maintenance – including cleaning & disinfection.
DuPont™ Tyvek® 800 Series
The higher the number of the series, the higher the level of protection and the more elements a DuPont™ Tyvek® suit can protect you from. The right DuPont™ Tyvek® series number for your application is dependent on the what an application is exposing you to. Should you require the highest level of protection a DuPont™ Tyvek® garment can offer, you’ll want DuPont™ Tyvek 800® Series protective apparel.
DuPont™ Tyvek® 800 is a liquid-tight protective garment that combines comfort and durability with protection against low-concentration, water-based inorganic chemicals and particles down to one micron in size. DuPont™ Tyvek® 800 stands up to even pressurized jets of liquids and offers suitability for a variety of applications, including industrial cleaning, chemical packaging and distribution, waste treatment and disposal, and environmental remediation.
